Remote Corporate Account Manager
The Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor for their client portfolio, working to understand their strategic goals and identify opportunities to drive growth. By focusing on developing long-term partnerships, the Account Manager will cultivate direct relationships and deliver timely value propositions, through guiding and advising the clients toward an integrated solution that meets their needs. With a deep understanding of our offerings, the Account Manager will confidently recommend the rights services and solutions to help clients achieve their objectives.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and sustain strong, multi-level client relationships as the main point of contact throughout the Customer post sales lifecycle
Develop and execute a travel cost management strategic business plan that aligns with client’s objectives and goals
Continuously assess opportunities and performance, with an emphasis on cost efficiency and return on investment; regularly conduct meaningful Reviews of Clients Program performance – Identify, track and escalate as needed; raise critical concerns internally and leverage resources to resolve issues
Identify growth opportunities by proactively exploring for growth within your assigned accounts, both through upselling our solutions and cross-selling into adjacent practices
Understand, manage and administer commercial models by gaining a deep insight into contracts, business agreements
Develop client focused solutions; exceed client expectations by providing responsive, considerate and effective support fostering a strong, positive relationship
Drive service delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreement and Business Plan; this involves planning, and preparation execution
Collaborate with cross functional teams as the relevant responsibility for client implementation and drive contract renewal
Lead ongoing initiatives that help continuously improve our approach and effectively secure our customers success
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 10 years experience in Corporate Travel management
At least 5 years as an Account Manager within a Corporate Travel Management environment
Experience in a client focused role
Business and Commercial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communicator
ASSISTANT TRAVEL MANAGER FOR A PRIVATE CORPORATION ON SITE IN MINNETONKA, MINNESOTA
Assistant Travel Manager needed booking groups for a private corporation. Excellent salary with time and a half for overtime. Located in Minnetonka, MN, is a comprehensive job that often requires more hours. Worldspan preferred but can convert from Sabre. The bookings include groups, transit vans and care rentals, managing the vehicle fleet, and generating travel reports. Company pays half of the healthcare costs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with travel management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel Arrangements:
• Coordinate high volume domestic group flights and individual travel for corporate employees and executives.
• Ensure travel plans adhere to company policies and budget constraints.
• Monitor and adjust itineraries in response to cancellations, delays, or changes.
Fleet & Rental Management:
• Oversee the scheduling, usage, and maintenance of the company’s rental vehicle fleet.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle assignments, mileage, service history, and availability.
• Work with rental companies and fleet service providers to secure the best rates and contracts.
Reporting & Compliance:
• Create regular travel reports, including cost analysis, travel frequency, and compliance metrics, for finance and management.
• Track travel expenses and collaborate with finance to reconcile travel-related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal travel policies and external regulations.
Vendor Relations:
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and car rental services to negotiate corporate rates and streamline services.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in corporate travel management, preferably as an Assistant Travel Manager or Travel Coordinator.
• Strong knowledge of GDS systems, Worldspan preferred.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems and vehicle scheduling software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• High attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

• Primarily office-based with some remote work flexibility.
• Will require availability during non-standard business hours to address urgent travel changes or issues.
