Director, Travel Sales & Revenue Analytics

Summary:

The Director of Travel Sales & Revenue Analytics plays a crucial role in driving data- driven decision-making at the agency. This position will leverage advanced analytics on global travel sales and related activities to provide critical insights to the Industry Relations department and executive management team. By analyzing data from various sources, including bookings with hundreds of travel suppliers, the Director will identify trends, forecast future performance, and recommend strategies to maximize company revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Analysis & Insights:

o Analyze travel sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

o Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast sales and revenue across multiple markets (USD, GBP, EUR).

o Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that effectively communicate key findings and actionable insights to stakeholders.

o Collaborate with the Industry Relations, Sales, and IT departments to gather data, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify new data sources.

o Work closely with WNS (external data analytics firm) to ensure projects are executed effectively and meet defined timelines.

· Strategic Support:

o Provide strategic business analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making.

o Identify emerging trends in the travel industry and their potential impact on the agency's business.

o Develop and implement data-driven strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

· Industry Relations Performance:

o Track and analyze the performance of Industry Relations initiatives, including invoices, sales, revenue, contracts, marketing tactics, event sponsorships, and overrides.

o Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of Industry Relations programs.

· Data Management & Reporting:

o Design and develop user-friendly reports and dashboards that provide stakeholders with easy access to key data and insights.

o Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

  

o Continuously explore and implement new data analysis techniques and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information with accuracy.

· Proficiency in Excel, SQL databases, and data visualization tools (e.g., Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI).

· Ability to perform thorough analysis of complex data and draw sound conclusions.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present data and insights to diverse audiences.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Adaptable, resourceful, and flexible to the needs of a rapidly growingcompany.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to work long hours seated at a desk.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Management, Statistics, or a related field, a plus.

· Travel industry background required.


The Senior Travel Advisor & Assistant Manager located in Nashville, Tennessee.  Open to anyone willing to relocate,  is a dual-role leadership position responsible for selling high-end luxury travel experiences while also supporting agency growth, team development, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong sales skills, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to build the business, expand the client base, and elevate team performance.

The ideal candidate has a passion for luxury travel, a proven track record in high-value travel sales, and the ability to mentor advisors, drive business growth, and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

Luxury Travel Sales & Client Management

  • Design and sell bespoke luxury travel      experiences for high-net-worth clients, ensuring VIP treatment and      exclusive amenities.
  • Leverage strong relationships with      luxury hotels, DMCs, cruise lines, and airlines to secure top-tier perks      for clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of VIP clients,      providing proactive service and personalized recommendations.
  • Negotiate and secure upgrades, preferred      amenities, and unique experiences through partnerships like Virtuoso.
  • Stay ahead of global travel trends and      destination knowledge to provide expert guidance.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Mentor and support travel advisors,      sharing industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Provide training on sales techniques,      luxury travel products, destinations and client management.
  • Foster a high-performance culture,      encouraging collaboration and goal achievement.

Operations & Office Management

• Help oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellent client service.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and agency policies.

• Work closely with ownership to optimize financial performance and improve processes.

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Management teams in our Toronto office to ensure seamless coordination across both locations. We operate as one company, not two separate offices, and this role is essential in maintaining alignment, communication, and mutual support.

Business Development & Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow      the agency’s revenue and expand the client base.

Manager of Global Sales 

The Manager of Global Sales, Member Experience, leads innovative account management

strategies and is focused on increasing profitability and deepening member engagement and Sales Support among the members of the agency. The role primary focus is to grow and increase the non-transactional and transactional revenue of their portfolio, through a combination of exceptional relationship management and consultative sales skills, a sophisticated ability to synthesize client needs and identify innovative solutions, a strong understanding of the external market, and communicating in-depth knowledge of the agency’s value proposition.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Create domestic and international PNR’s, Profiles, maintain EPR’s, simple and complex exchanges, pricing PNRs, process full and partial refunds, and sell airline ancillary services via EMDs.

• Using a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.

• Navigating the Internet to research information, including the ability to open and configure standard browsers; use searches, hypertext references, and transfer protocols; and send and retrieve electronic mail.

• Using a computer application to enter, manipulate, and format text and numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and columns; and create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs.

• Collaborate with leaders across teams to share successfully proven practices and drive overall team performance and individual team goals.

• Maintaining various ARC lists for the different carrier programs and importing them into SugarCRM

• Creating contract/ticketing instructions and distributing them to the appropriate agencies.

• Loading Airline Agreements into our member portal.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years of verified experience in the role of Corporate Travel Advisor.

• Expert knowledge in at least one GDS in the native language including the ability to create domestic and international PNR’s, Profiles, maintain EPR’s, simple and complex exchanges, pricing PNRs, process full and partial refunds, and sell airline ancillary

services via EMDs.

• Travel agency operational and or sales experience within a fast-paced environment.

• Solid sales and interpersonal skills.

• Skilled in MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.

• Amenable to working additional hours with occasional weekends if needed by the upper management/executive team.
