The Senior Travel Advisor & Assistant Manager located in Nashville, Tennessee.  Open to anyone willing to relocate, is a dual-role leadership position responsible for selling high-end luxury travel experiences while also supporting agency growth, team development, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong sales skills, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to build the business, expand the client base, and elevate team performance.

The ideal candidate has a passion for luxury travel, a proven track record in high-value travel sales, and the ability to mentor advisors, drive business growth, and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

Luxury Travel Sales & Client Management

  • Design and sell bespoke luxury travel      experiences for high-net-worth clients, ensuring VIP treatment and      exclusive amenities.
  • Leverage strong relationships with      luxury hotels, DMCs, cruise lines, and airlines to secure top-tier perks      for clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of VIP clients,      providing proactive service and personalized recommendations.
  • Negotiate and secure upgrades, preferred      amenities, and unique experiences through partnerships like Virtuoso.
  • Stay ahead of global travel trends and      destination knowledge to provide expert guidance.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Mentor and support travel advisors,      sharing industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Provide training on sales techniques,      luxury travel products, destinations and client management.
  • Foster a high-performance culture,      encouraging collaboration and goal achievement.

Operations & Office Management

• Help oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellent client service.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and agency policies.

• Work closely with ownership to optimize financial performance and improve processes.

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Management teams in our Toronto office to ensure seamless coordination across both locations. We operate as one company, not two separate offices, and this role is essential in maintaining alignment, communication, and mutual support.

• Foster a culture of teamwork and shared success, ensuring both offices work in sync to provide the highest level of service to clients.

Business Development & Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow      the agency’s revenue and expand the client base.
  • Identify and cultivate new business      opportunities, including corporate travel, VIP clients, and luxury brand      partnerships.
  • Lead networking, marketing, and sales      initiatives to attract affluent travelers.
  • Track sales goals, KPIs, and revenue      targets, ensuring continuous agency growth.

  • 5+ years of experience in luxury travel      sales and advisory.

LUXURY LEISURE TRAVEL AGENT IN HOUSE HYBRID -HANOVER NJ AREA    

Job Description: As a Travel Agent you will play a pivotal role in creating dream vacations for our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting      with clients to determine their travel preferences, requirements, and      budget.
  • Designing      and presenting custom travel itineraries that align with clients'      interests and needs.
  • Providing      expert advice on destinations, travel options, and relevant travel      regulations.

LUXURY LEISURE TRAVEL AGENT NEEDED IN DOWNTOWN CHICAGO

Small luxury focused agency located in the heart of downtown Chicago. 

Open since 1970 - Virtuoso member agency.

We specialize in travel for wealthy individuals, families and CEO level clients.

We sell the world, with particular specialty in destinations of Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia/New Zealand and North America. 

Skills: 

Qualifications & Responsibilities: 

• Minimum of 5 years selling leisure travel 

• Experience selling cruises, tours, FITs and resort vacations

• Ability to offer consultative suggestions for clients, based on their specific needs

• Has experience booking flights (prefer Sabre experience, including ticketing).

• High level attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize in a constantly changing environment

• Positive attitude & Flexibility

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team player – who is willing to assist other agents and clients as needed

• Excellent computer skills – we use MS Word, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and a number of other programs

• Make sure clients have valid passport and all required documents to enter a country and are up to date on any medical requirements.

EXPEDITION TRAVEL ADVISOR – IN-HOUSE IN SARASOTA FLORIDA

Job Summary:
The Expedition Travel Advisor will be the primary point of contact for client and travel agent inquiries, responsible for guiding potential travelers through the reservation process and maintaining accurate booking records. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing bookings, and supporting both clients and agents throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client and Agent Support:
    • Field email, phone, and live chat       inquiries from clients and agents interested in booking Arctic and       Antarctic expeditions, providing information on itineraries, cabin       options, availability, and rates.
    • Follow up on inquiries and bookings,       ensuring all client questions are addressed and resolved professionally.
    • Proactively assist clients and       agents with challenges or issues during the booking process, coordinating       with the Sales Manager, Expedition Support Specialist, and colleagues to       resolve issues efficiently.

  1. Reservation Management:
    • Confirm reservations in the       company’s booking system, track confirmed bookings through their       lifecycle, and verify receipt of deposits and final payments.
    • Coordinate with clients and agents       to ensure passenger forms, payment deadlines, and special requirements       are accurately documented and tracked.
    • Ensure reservation records are       up-to-date and accurately reflect client preferences, cabin selections,       and additional service requests.

  1. Lead Follow-Up and Client Engagement:
    • Systematically follow up on leads       from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, travel shows, and other       channels, engaging potential clients via email or phone to encourage       bookings.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries       submitted through the website’s live chat function, providing helpful       information to guide client decisions.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the       0unique offerings and the competitive landscape in the polar expedition       market to effectively communicate agency’s value proposition.

  1. Sales and Administrative Support:
    • Assist with administrative tasks       related to booking data entry, payment tracking, and documentation       management.
    • Support special projects as       assigned, including market research, sales campaigns, and operational       improvements.
    • Maintain a high standard of customer       service, representing Poseidon Expeditions with professionalism and a       client-focused approach.

  1. Industry Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about the polar       expedition sector, including competitor offerings, industry trends, and       unique positioning.
    • Actively participate in training       sessions, team meetings, and industry events to continually enhance       knowledge and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel/Tourism, Hospitality,      Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in travel sales, reservations,      or customer service, preferably within the luxury or adventure travel      sector.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and reservation software      (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with      an ability to build rapport with clients and resolve issues effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing      multiple tasks and client requests in a dynamic environment.
  • A passion for adventure travel and the polar regions      is a plus.
