Meeting and Incentives Sales Representative
This position is responsible for achieving the sales quota which is discussed and agreed between the incumbent and management as well as traveling through assigned territory more than half the working time away from the office. Call on existing and prospective customers to promote products/services and solicit new business by retaining and developing company key client relationships and identifying potential business opportunities. The duties include developing and executing plans for continuous improvement and measuring progress in terms of travel management goals and objectives, customer service and client relationships.
Essential Job Functions
Client Development
1 Regularly works more than half the working time away from the office making personal sales calls at customer sites.
2 Conducts marketing research to compile a list of potential clients, generating new leads with the intention of creating more sales/revenue to meet the target.
3 Schedules appointments with potential clients, prepares and perform presentations
4 Produces and distributes sales materials, including flyers and emails to clients.
5 Maintains and develops positive customer relationship by assessing customer needs, suggesting products and services which meet and exceed client expectations.
6 Work closely with the designated sales team to strategize more effective sales methods
8 Take an initiative to develop and execute business development ideas and strategies, to impact on daily operations from the organizational perspective, when appropriate.
9 Conducts Group and Leisure sales activities and tour escorts.
Client Management
1 Meets with key customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
2 Provides phone and e-mail communications with clients to maintain business.
3 Communicates clients' objectives and requirements to travel consultants, IT teams and accounting.
4 Ensures customer satisfaction by personally attending to customers' travel needs and/or coordinating with the operation team.
5 Manages account receivables related to the assigned clients, including additional billing incurred due to the itinerary changes.
6 Review, prepare and execute business contracts with clients.
7 Resolves escalated customer service issues and handles complicated vendor or client situations
8 Fully understands and acts upon our customer needs at all times
9 Maintains strong ties with clients and related parties.
Meeting, Incentive, Event Management and Exhibition
1 Develops, manages, and delivers client reporting requirements.
2 Assesses clients’ needs for each event by thoroughly communicating with clients and the operation team.
3 Analyzes and reviews clients' cost performance with clients and identifies potential savings.
4 Provides cutting-edge technology such as registration system
5 Negotiates with suppliers or vendors for better rates.
6 Works closely with various operation teams internally and externally to organize clients' events successfully and cost-effectively.
7 Conducts risk management.
Other & Miscellaneous
1 Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
2 Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors of your business unit and branch office.
3 Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
4 Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solutions.
5 Maintains good communication with your superiors, office staff members and outside contacts.
6 Complies with all company policies and procedures.
7 Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Qualifications
1 Possesses experience in the travel or event industry, or equivalent skills, in the area of one's expertise.
2 Possesses basic knowledge and skills to perform day-to-day responsibilities
3 Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office, SABRE.
BUSINESS TRAVEL INTELLIGENCE TEAM LEAD -REMOTE
This position is responsible as team lead and for providing, maintaining, and optimizing all travel technologies used by the agency for the purposes of business travel. Keeping up with new industry technologies, managing budgets, and scheduling is also required.
Ensures that the following tasks are performed effectively and efficiently by subordinates, vendors or personally:
1 Updates and maintains the travel technologies used to provide our Business Travel services which include, but not limited to: Business Intelligence, Trip Disruption Assistance, Trip Alerts, Waiver Services, Duty of Care/Risk Management, Virtual Payments, and Price Monitoring.
2 Responds to various questions and inquiries from internal employees and external clients on any travel technology deployed or managed by the Business Travel Intelligence Team.
3 Escalates issues to Technology Partners in a timely manner to ensure issues are addressed.
4 Works closely with Business Travel Client Development staff to enhance the use of and value of travel technologies.
5 Understands the purpose and functionality of all technologies managed by the TTS team.
6 Responsible for providing both external client facing and internal employee facing trainings of travel technologies.
7 Develops and maintains all client facing training materials.
8 Manages the BTI team and implementation projects, including timelines and key milestones, understand and analyze client business requirements, providing consultative advice on how to optimally set up the product and addressing client questions.
9 Responsible for all updates and enhancements of products and services offered by Technology Partners.
10 Able to present our travel partner technologies with accuracy and clarity.
11 Provides Operations staff with updates and knowledge to increase and improve their knowledge of travel technologies.
12 Contributes to special projects as needed to ensure successful service deployments, improved internal processes/methodologies and on-going retention/satisfaction of client base.
Travel Management Knowledge
1 Keeps updated on the Business Travel Industry by subscribing to and reading, included but not limited to, Travel Weekly and BTN.
2 Keeps up with travel technology and those that affect business travel.
3 Constantly improving business travel knowledge by attending webinars and other e-learning opportunities.
4 Understands the purpose of Business Travel Management and how it relates to the agency’s business.
Other & Miscellaneous

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Education & Work Experience
1 Possesses 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills, in the area of one's expertise.
2 Possesses basic knowledge and skills to perform day-to-day responsibilities.
